As a Senior Software Engineer you will take ownership of product strategy and help to build the best fitness app for a growing community. You will be essential to the continued success of the company and their mission to change the fitness industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Translating customer needs into a product vision, working with cross-functional leaders to help define product, design and brand strategy.
- Driving the product lifecycle from vision and planning through to product delivery, collaborating across the executive team and senior engineering, marketing, design and operations leadership.
- Learning about customer roadblocks, and then developing new product or feature ideas that lead to customer success.
- Mentorship and coaching of the product team.
- The team are planning to move into the world of connect devices which include fitness trackers which will also connect to other digital platforms.
- You’ll be a versatile engineer that’s happy to get stuck in in multiple areas of the business.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Working knowledge of Python and experience with Django.
- Experience working with PostgreSQL.
- Experience working with AWS.
- An aptitude to be able to pick up other languages such as JavaScript and Node.js would an added bonus.
